Not currently. The dealer can flash for higher idle.

You can also use this JWT mod. It has worked really well for alot of the cars here.

I really don't want to pay for a flash if I'm already paying $$$ for the UTEC. I asked before about the JWT idle mod but didn't get any responses so I assumed it wasn't that effective.

Sorry did not see your posts before. We have a built motor APS car with JWT cams and ATS carbon clutch car that we built for a customer. Before the JWT mod it would stall all the time and fluctuate all the time. Now its rock solid. We also have a couple of customers with a rough idle just generally that have basic mods and this cures the issue instantly.

That's excellent! Thanks man! Looks like I'll be getting the JWT cams, idle adjustment kit and UTEC.

The idle JWT kit you talk about , is that the one that T's off the vacuum line going to the Throttle body and runs to the breather hose hooked up on the intake ?

The dealership should flash it for relativly cheap.. probably same price as JWT mod.. once UTEC gets idle adjustment the JWT fix would be useless splicing imo. Why not get the dealership to flash it using consult?

From what I've read, you can't adjust the idle on 04.5+ using the consult.

Yep. T in the line between the EVAP Purge Valve and the Plenum (behind the Throttle Body. The T connects to the Crankcase Breather Hose.

Won't this send the pressurized air when under boost out of the intake manifold and out the intake tube, basically a vacuum leak?

Yes a little bit. Thus far we have not noted any issue becasue its such a small orrifice, but a check valve could be added between the T and the Breather Hose to enure against this under boost.

That's my car he's talking about and yes it idles perfectly now. Before, it idled like an old american muscle(I'm assuming that because I've never ridden in an old modified muscle car) but now it's like stock. No need to raise the idle.

I think that I am having this issue with the unsteady idle due to cams. But, the line that you tap into from the back of the throtle body, I already have tapped into for a fuel regulator. Has any one done this and had any problems?

So I did the install of the JWT kit, and the car is still running like but. I let the car warm up and then took it out and it stalled 3 times in the 1st 5 min. The idle is still very rough, though it has gotten a little better as I have driven the car. After it stalled the 3 times it do not stall after that. But, my fuel pressure is stuck between 2.8 and 2.9, is this normal? How long does it take for the ECU to learn the new AIR/FUEL? And is my fuel pressure suck due to the increase in vacuum?
