Default 350x turbo check engine light on!!

so, im at my girlfriends house.... i get in my car... start it. back up in reverse and then...BAMN the light came on... i cant believe it. never had one before or after the turbo was installed.... MIAPLAYA is trying to help me out.... im a little worried. i hopoe everything is ok.

Hook it up to a comp to read the outputs. It is most likely due to cat removal.

ive had this turbo on for like 7000 miles on it and no problems ever... and im using a high-flow cat

Take it to an autozone and have them use an obd scanner. It will tell you the code.

I will bet $$$ that it will be gone before tomorrow morning. It's almost definitely the "Multiple cylinder misfire" code that is common with FI on these cars. If it happens from time to time, it's nothing to worry about. I've had mine go off randomly about 3 times in the past 7 months since the kit was installed. It lasts for about an hour and then clears when you start the car the next time.

0300 thank god.... it wasn't anything serious... when that light came on, i was ****ting myself.... thanks guys for your help...

I believe "high flow cats" are very different than "cat deletes" (straight pipes, no cats). It completely changes the backpressure readings without the cats.
