After getting back the parts from swain tech coatings, the housing was 190-220. Also you can get rid of that ugly housing shield. A vented hood would also be a nice addition to the setup.
Interesting. How did you know that the engine temp went down? Did you install an aftermarket thermostat? I wonder if coating the pipes would be an alternative to an aftermarket radiator used for better engine cooling.

Exhaust seems to be a popular suggestion, which has the largest diameter or better yet, who has seen the most gains with a particular exhaust??

My first thread, wow . My favorite mod thus far has been UTEC and then closely followed by my Fuel Return.

On a different note, pick your tuner wisely, stay far far away from Batleground for anything UTEC, FAR FAR AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.

Let the dead thread rise, MUAHAHA!

LOL. Im gonna bite the bullet and finally order the spacer. Cant wait. I also got a new exhuast. Another good mod was upgrading the spark plugs. Anyone have that hyper ground system?

My spacer netted a huge gain in the Butt dyno, especially in the mid-range. The exhaust was good, and I didn't notice a difference with the spark plugs, but it is safer, I am sure.

My UTEC of course I love fine tuning it, and I really like how smooth the car felt with the HKS DLI-II ignition..

Did you happen to do a before and after dyno regarding the spacer? Just wondering what type of gains you were seeing and what part of the curve improved the most with the spacer.

Ok this is hard to explain but hopefully you will one day experience it. My car on the TN flash only when not detonating ran good, really little to no hiccups. When I put the UTEC in, I drove it only after it was semi-tuned-around 370whp at this point, the car felt so much smoother and to me felt faster than my TN flash 390whp. The way it revved, throttle tip in, the way it drove through the powerband both WOT and normal was a level over the flash, you dont realize how much better the car feels until you do probobly an EM. Then I installed the ignition and to me it seemed almost as much of an improvemt in going to the UTEC. Same thing throttle tip in, the way the car revs/pulls-especially near redline, and midrange too was stronger and improved.

For what its worth you know my 1st time out to the track with the UTEC only I was trapping 114mph in good cool conditions. Recently after only adding the ignition (havent opened my spark plug gap from .035" yet to provide even better gains with the DLI) and very minor UTEC fine tuning I trapped 115/116mph in much hotter/humid temps, the car without a doubt pulls harder up top the traps show it. Not saying DLI = 2mph trap but it helped.

Default Technosquare ECU reflash for 5AT

I have the 5AT w/ CAT TN kit. One of the first ones out. Was hitting the rev limiter at AT mode plus a very rich AF (sub 10s - my AF gauges' lower limit). Since I was a So. Cal. local & already had a Technosquare reflash before the FI. I went back to Tadashi to have the ECU rev. limiter raised on AT mode to 7100 RPM & to lean out my AF to 10.5-10.9. It took 2 appointments to get the AF leaned out. I'm very happy with the performance. Smooth shifting at WOT on AT mode at 6800-6900 RPM. The AF adjustment too provided noticeable high RPM performance gain based off course on my high tech "butt dyno". Was almost ready to spend another $1K for VB upgrade but just cost me $150 for the reflash. I believe TN has now adjusted the rev limiter to be at 7100 at AT mode so this should not be an issue for new AT kits. Overall, VERY HAPPY w/ my TN!!!!!!

Is that AF at redline? AF of 10.5-10.9 in normal rpm bands is still a little rich. You should have them keep going a little more.
