Bringing this back from the dead. I was incorrect earlier I have a P8 code not P9, I have tried according to the manual doing a sensor free air calibration as well as a heater calibration with no success, I guess my less than 1000 mile old sensor took a dump. Well I call Innovate for the VW part # for the replacement 02 sensor and they tell me "its in your manual" Im like well Im calling you for a reason I dont have my manual with me. They finally give me 2 incorrect part #'s I find out after calling 2 VW dealers to double check. I call Innovate back and they say "well just go to the VW dealer with your bad sensor and match it up", they couldnt help me at all.

My question to you knowledgable Innovate guys is what are the correct VW part #'s? The incorrect part #'s are as follows:
0258007057
0258007058

If anybody could help me out Id appreciate it.

Had the same problem, come to find out, it wasn't until I hooked it up to a laptop that I found the problem - the damn LC-1 or whatever was set to 'CUSTOM' instead of 'GASOLINE' - a couple local members had the same problem. This really burned my *** that they came from Innovate this way, and I left a thread about it on their website, with no response.

Anyways, if, in your heart of hearts, you KNOW you have this wired correctly and the terminator plug is installed correctly then all I could suggest is to find a laptop with a serial port, and check your settings on the LC-1 and make sure it doesn't read 'CUSTOM'

alberto, when you get that sensor you ordered post a pic of it if you will, im wondering if if just snaps in to the lc-1 like the sensor the innovate comes with or if you have to do some wiring to the innovates clip. thanks

I am having the same problem with a Z that I put together for someone in the local area... Darn gauge just reads "---". Thanks for the info I will check to make sure the gauge does not read custom on the PC program.
