I no that there aren't that many members with ATI Procharger on this board... well atleast i dont think so..... but i would like to get together some number so i no realisticly what i can run ....... i would love to no who ran the most boost with the kit...... The most Horsepower to the wheels, and the most pounds of torque..... also track numbers...... right now i run around 7lbs of boost. In the spring im looking to run 10lbs of boost, Im hoping for over 400 whp and 400 lbs. of tq. I have pro-1 test pipe, borla-tru dual exhaust, an AAM intake plenum spacer, AAM ECU and their tune. I just got RC440 injectors, i want 9lb. pullies, and a fuel return system. i want to run lows 12's in the 1/4 all said and done, im hopefull, right now i should run mid to high 12's. n e info is appreciated...... thanx justin

 

What are your numbers now ? I dont think there are that many ATI guys here . Im sure AAM could suggest exactly what you will need to get to 400whp . But 400trq. is going to be hard to come by in a SC

 

Right now my numbers are 363WHP, and 306tq. I dont think that theres to many ATI Procharger guys on here either..... I just want to see other peoples numbers and accomplishments...... Why is torque so hard to come by in a supercharger......?

 

your torque wont be that high. i would guess your hp would be around 400whp- 420whp probally and torque id say youd be lucky with 350tq. but i might be wrong thats just what ive seen. my bother has the same setup excet with the kinetix IM and 380cc injectors. and hes getting his tuned with the utec tomorrow so ill let you know what he gets cause hes at the same psi.

ive heard of people running 15 and 16 psi on a procharger but thats with a built motor. i think 10-11 maybe 12 is the most people tend to have. but i dont know what the absolute max is.

 

I have an ATI on my G but I am also running 7lbs. I know you can go alot higher but after 9lbs. you will have to do your internals or suffer the consequences.I believe you can go as high as 24lbs although I have never heard of anyone doing that. Good luck!

 

24psi is more than likely what its rated at . That doesnt mean you can get to that . The Vortech is rated to 20psi I believe , but on our cars , with the set up that comes with these kits . Highly unlikely . You have to push the air though IC pipe , an IC , throttle body ,and every bend in the IC pipe . This all takes away from the max PSi you will be able to get from the system

410hp 350tq if im lucky,
the only reason i'm going to the 9lb pulley is to get more mid range power, I'm not too concerned with peak power since I try not to redline it too much. so I'll be more interested in my power from 3500-6000.

Mid 12's with 360whp is attainable, but you will need a launch and som edriving ability. Thing is every guy on this board thinks they can drag race, when they go to the 1/4 track they are in shock. Most s/c's run low 13's.

Anyways, fastest ATI that I know of was Sin4u33's AUTO. With 1.9 60ft he went 12.3 @ 113. That is freakishly fast considering its an auto and "only" 360whp(7psi), like I said this is not a common occurance. I also know he was shifting at like 7300rpm's, so Im sure winding the gears out longer helped.

 

well i cant wind out gear yet, after the fuel mods, then sure i will be able to hit 7100, 12.3 in sick, thats f'ing quick for an auto with 360, thats freakishly fast and suprising, i think i seen that video, im a good street racer, not great, launch is everything when it somes to draggin, 60ft is so important, i dont no what it is but i get a better start on the street instead of the track..... i dont no if thats because i dont have slick and my **** dont hook..... or what.... i ran a 14.35 in the 1/4 bone stock on 20" stern wheels, prolly some of the heaviest out there, my 60ft was 2.4 or 2.6 which isn't good at all....... how did he wind gears out to 7300......?

I still have a procharger.. 9.5lbs of boost.. stock internals.. I made 394whp, 329wtq on a dynojet recently.. I have a lot of mods on the car..Most of what you listed on your wish list.. You will have a lot of trouble trying to make 400 lbs of tq to the wheels.. The centrifugal s/c's aren't tourque monsters like the turbo setups are..

400FT/LB will not be attainable... I believe theres only one Vortech out there making close to 400WT... But the best numbers I have saw on a ATI is from Avalon Racing. Call and ask for Paul... his show car is fully tuned and could give you some insight. It's their show car thats up forsale on the website.

Whats the most torque n e one is puttin out with the procharger.....?...... how many z's or g's are over 400 whp?...... obviously they would have to be running atleast 9lbs. of boost.....

 

i will hopefully be ati in a few weeks the previous owner had 401 whp and 349 tq with the 7 lb pulley 380 cc injectors and PE pump. his car did 12.5 i dunno if it was on slicks or what? his name on here is
