Default Who is interested in the Injected Performance turbo kit?

I have been emailing back and forth with Greg from Injected Performance and I would like to know who is interested in this kit. The reason why I ask is because the more people that are interested in the kit and are definately willing to purchase this wonderful work of art (imo) then the price of it could maybe be lowered. I myself am very interested and would love to have a
GT42R in my Z.
Here are some specs:

Garrett GT42 Ball Bearing Turbocharger
Custom 3 Row Intercooler
Custom Radiator and Condenser
Custom crossover piping with headers
Custom tubular front upper and lower radiator supports
3” Downpipe and Midpipe
Fuel system including dual intank fuel pumps, billet pump hanger, all wiring, fuel lines, regulator, fuel rails, and injectors
4” Intake System with Air Filter
HPC Coating on all hot side piping
Adel Wiggins clamps on all piping
UTEC Engine Management
All intercooler piping is polished

well, the GT42R is a 1000+whp turbo. IMO a GT40R would be more useable and streetable........but hey, who am I to tell ya how to spend yer money?

besides that, with that big turbo, I'd at least run 3.5" turbo back or larger. Maybe 4". That'd have to be custom made from materials sourced from a truck shop (i.e. peterbuilt/freightliner trucks). That'd allow incredible flow....and I'd at least run 3" intercooler piping too. Maybe a big triple core charge cooler, V mounted perhaps. And a BIG FRICKING RADIATOR!

The GT42 is way to big for the size motor in these cars. Thats a freaking huge turbo and would be horrible on the street.

well if they can put a gt42r on a 2.0L evo, i think it would be fine on a Z and maybe a lil NX to help the spool

obviously not going to be much of an everyday street car.

You can put a huge turbo on any car if you want, that doesn't mean it will spool up good. I run a 91mm turbo on my 331ci small block mustang and that thing doesn't make full boost till close to 4000rpms. I'm just saying that is a very large turbo and I wouldn't recommend it for the street.

on the evo IITC it doesnt spool until about 5k and its 4wd, it cant get traction in any gear, plus they use Toyo RA1 drag radials on the street, and still dont get grip until 4th-5th gear.

when you say spool, I imagine it doesn't START spooling until 4-5k. And even revving to 9k that car probably only has 3krpm, if that, of useable boost.

imo, way oversized. WAY oversized. I can't figure out why the evo guys are doing this all of a sudden, using super overkill turbos.

my guess is because it hauls major ***, 2.2L stroked, street legal 4banger running 9.48 @ 156.6mph with no NOS, 808whp. gotta be a rush driving that thing. its the feature car in this months MODMAG, it runs 42-44psi at the track!

Ok time for some clarification.

Greg's car is a 4.3 AEBS stroker motor, hence the GT4202. Sized for the 4.3l. A kit for the 3.5l would be a sized accordingly for daily driving vs dyno queen.

Greg's car is not running UTEC.

Larger exhaust piping than what's currently on his car for extended use.

with that big of a FMIC it would be wise not to drive on the street incas you get into an accident, since the front bumber support is removed
