350z with Greddy Twin Turbo Question
I am considering taking my 350z and installing the Greddy TT kit, and Nismo Exhaust. But my Z is 1 month old. Do you think that it would considerable shorten the life span off the engine. Lets assume that with or without the tt kit it would be driven like a sports car, but not abused. Oh and I am under the impression that you don't have to modify the hood to install the tt kit, but you do with the supercharger.
Oh, I forgot. What would you estimate the rwhp with this config. 06 350z Touring A/T.
I wonder what you would dyno out at if you did this same mod but prior to this you converted your motor to a stroker motor (4.5 from forged internals).
I am guessing 700rwhp

ditch the nismo and get a True dual exhuast......thats one thing
and dont worry bout the engine life...as long as you get a good conservative tune youll be good......
out the box with a dyno & tune wTD you should hit bout 340-360whp.....might be less
if you havent got the kit yet yet send a Pm to sharif he has a package set for the greddy tt that will come with every thing you need(FMIC,BOV, Fuel returen,...etc)
and next time post it in the F/I section

If you are installing the Greddy TT kit expect to also buy:
Walbro 255 lph
Timing harness for Emanage Blue
and be prepared to have the car dyno tuned. As for shortening the lifespan I would say it depends on how well you keep up on maintenance and how much power you are making..

not sure if this is true or not but i think the AT do better using a Single Turbo system
since yor goal is 350whp you should just go with a ST kit like APS or Turbonetics......that way you can keep your (NA) NISMO EXHUAST

do you think it will hold up to putting down 400whp or 400hp at the tranny connection. Becuase if that is the case I would need to do some tranny modes becuase if I am putting 350whp then the flywheel should be around 437hp.

no matter what power you put down on a AT youre going to need a valve body upgrade and a trq converter
not sure if it will only hold 400hp or 400whp.....you need to ask one of the AT guys
P.S. no more double posting

yeah for a DDer i would suggest a ST but a TT will work for DD....
but for just a short add(100 or so) for a DD at i would say Single Turbo........best choice would be the APS single Turbo....
and you can keep your *** to yourself
