Default Going Rate For A FI Tune?

What is the going rate for a FI tune. Is one type of piggyback more expensive than another to tune?

What's everyone paying?

It can really vary. Yes, some EMS's are more expensive to tune than others, but if you are talking a utec, unichip, or EU, I would think 300-600bucks would a decent ballpark figure depending on your setup. Shop rates vary on tuning, so that can also influence your final cost. Tuan at GRD tuned my car in about 2.5 hrs for a reference

You in FL no? You should contact westpak and have Japtrix tune it. I'm having them installing my APS TT with tune.

Does that include tuning for all 5 maps? What all is included in the tune?

...and I should add, who's results and methods you trust the most

A cheap tune is not bad and an expensive tune is not good....the right tune is the best buy any day of the week.

I couldnt agree more. And make sure the shop road tunes extensively, after dyno tuning. Some shops use interial dynos, vs. load based, and depending on their level of exeperience, prices are going to vary. Some shops charge hourly, and some charge a flat rate. We do flat rate pricing: $350 for eManage Blue or Split Second, $600 for EU, and $660 for UTEC.
