Idle is set at 950 via the reflash...

Nope..a ECU reflash can set the idle higher as part of the flash...

INTERESTING..I had my car ( early 04) flashed at AAM and they said they can't raise the idle. Had to take it to dealer to raise it!

I find that very interesting. Turbonetics has the idle set to 950 on EVERY ECU that comes in for kit install...Pretty sure we could ask the 50 members here and they would all tell you that its above 900 on their cars...may be time to talk to AAM again about that...

Your AFR is going to jump to 21 when you let off because it's reading O2 at that time.

Mine is the same way. It wil run between 15 and 16, then go to 17-19 and run really rough until I gas it then it will run nice again until it starts dipping down. I have exhaust, and plenum on mine btw. I think it is somewhere around 12 at wot but not really sure yet haven't been able to get any real runs in the neighborhood here.
