HOW much to RIP apart Car and PART OUT?
toying with the idea of parting out my car and selling it stock... i have a built block and would be selling that so i would need to get a new block also.. i have well over 20k in parts alone on the car and that is at a used part price not including the labor on the parts or body work ect.... the car KBB's at 34k to 35k in good condition.. so do you think i should try to sell it for 50k even and take a huge loss or part it out and return to stock and sell everything seperate.. its more of a hassle but ill make the most money... my question is what do you think a shop would charge me to do this? and do you think its a good idea?

KBB value is $30,500 for my 2004 G35 and I have put over $40K my car. I was asking $43K and didn't get any takers. I had a few people that seemed pretty interested, but I got frustated with the low ball offers and decided to keep it. I decided instead of selling it and losing a chit load of $$, I am gonna keep it for a long time even after I have bought my next car.
It is currently at SGP. The motor should come back from the machine shop next week and I should have the car back by mid Feb.

its a 2005 g35 fully loaded with everything.. for the gtr next year or the new g35

all the money you put in mod, you will not get it back fully when you sell your car. Either you take them out and sell to get some money back (don't expect to get back 100% base on your PAID price)
