I installed the walbro 255 pump. Should I get rid of the procharger piggy back pump? I have the greddy emanage but havent installed it yet. I also put Rc 440 injectors in there. It seems like im running real rich but I havent really had time to tweal with it. The last time I drove it it was almost stalling in reverse? If I install a greddy emanage can I just get a map from someone here that has a similar setup and load it? I have a procharger w/ 9lb pulley and test pipes.

 

i dont have a procharger but i would think that you need to remove that piggyback pump, their is no reason for it poeple here are running fine with the walbro i for one dont have any problems with my pump.

 

Yes Im going to disconnect it. Now will I need to adjust the air and fuel or should I be ok for now.

 

well since you did put in bigger injectors and a bigger pump you are going to need to tune it to run it safely, i would not really run the car hard with put getting it tuned first.

 

You need to tune your car... those 440s and Walbro pump are making you run retarded rich. You need to get that Emanage installed and tune the car...

 

Trash the aeromotive unit and get a reflash.

 

+100 you went from a 280-300 cc injector (no one seems to be sure) to the 440cc. you are now flowing 50% more fuel. the stock ecu only has a certain range it can adjust for. your ecu is having a super tough time dealing with it. get that eu installed asap and scale the injectors. then lose the boost pump and scale the rest of the maps on the eu.

 

So can I use other people's emanage maps and load them. Im trying to avoid the dyno and costs of tuning for now.
