I picked up the car tonight and got to test the VB out . Man does it shift fast and hard . The blower is off , so going WOT isnt going to show me much as it goes pig rich ....9.7 to 1 A/F NA...so no power there to really test the sift at redline . Down sifts are fine from 5th to 4th to 3rd to 2nd . I didnt try to down shift from 2nd to 1st . Thats were it made the clunking studdering sound . The tranny wasnt programed to do it till rpm's and speed are very low . So we souldnt be trying to do it .

How hard does it shift? Is it best described by a "clunking" sound like when shifting into reverse? I remember having some B&M tranny mods done to my TransAm years ago and the shifts were hard and clunky.

Thanks for the info. This is very helpful for us 5AT people.

1st to 2nd is a little to hard and clunking at slow speeds , at higher revs and speeds it isnt . The other shifts 2nd to 3rd to 4th is fine , the shift from 4th to 5th is much slower . Almost like stock . Dont think they did much with that shift , as we really dont need it to shift fast into 5th and at 140mph
