S/C question
yeah for me, if I was going TT I'd do APS over the JWT just because the JWT lacks a return fuel system, EMS that's tunable, larger oil pan, stock injectors, the intakes aren't out in front like the APS etc
For ST I'd take the turbonetics tuner kit with return fuel system, larger injectors, and EMS over the APS single
Any of the SC's are good really though I'd prefer the vortech or procharger

I'll try to give you my no BS best opinion.
Superchargers are cool and I originally wanted a Vortech because the sound it sounds intimidating and cool because of the wooosh it makes from the bypass valve or whatever. Turbos are awesome too so heres my pros/cons
S/C'er
Pros-Sounds cool, cheaper purchase price(compared to TT), Somewhat safer, cheaper to install(TT only), can use most n/a mods, carb legal, easier to find a tuner (i think)
Cons-Less Torque, Noisier, requires pulley for more boost, Louder exhaust note, slightly less potential for HP/Trq, requires adjusting of belts sometimes, more moving parts
Twin Turbo
Pros-Looks closer to stock (APS), sounds like stock at idle, Huge trq and HP, better power potential, quieter exhaust note with Test pipes, Better "Wow" factor, lil to no lag, less moving parts, no boost adjustments(APS, JWT) Slightly better gas mileage(realistically not going to see it unless freeway driving), when driving normal you can't tell its there.
Cons- High price/install price, torque maybe more damaging to rods(probably is but theres more to it than just that) no user adjustment (APS, JWT) no carb cert, way more power avail. then car can handle, tuners less accessible(don't know if thats true) more parts chances for a failure are more likely,
Thats about all i can think of, some of the suggestions slightly apply or can apply. However there are exceptions to the rule. I don't have personal experience with any ST kits but they seem like a perfect compromise between a SC'er(cheaper, cheaper install) and a Twin Turbo(Great trq and response).
My setup is a APS TT kit with almost 23K miles on the kit 52k on the car with a stock block. I had no fitment or related issues other than thermostats. I had 3 retunes in a years time. So, like i said some rules dont apply. See if you can experience them all and whatever makes you happy. Just be informed before making your decision. They all have pros and cons, theres no perfect solution. Good luck.

The JWT uses the Split Second Box for a EMS and is very tunable . Vortech uses the same EMS
I really like my ATI Procharger but I almost had to force ATI in selling me the higher boost pulleys. According to their techs: they have pulleys for 7 psi, 9 psi, 12-13psi and for "lots" (untested). Kind of makes one doubt his choice...

Just to share my expreience. My install is pretty bare bones. I'm running the stock pulley, no plenum/plenum spacer, stock clutch, rear end. You can see my numbers in my signature. I've been very happy. Ideally a CARB certified TT would have been my choice, but I couldn't wait anymore. The Vortech is plenty to bring a big smile to my face, and more than enough torque for the car to get away from you at times. And there's still room to grow.
i am very happy with my stage 4 stillen SC. lots of power. so far i had no problems at all, and the sound is very intimidating, in fact many cars get sort of scared and stop when i come from behind. if you want more power , i personally like the APS system turbo looks nice.
