Never feel any slippage at WOT. Only slight slippage under very mild acceleration fron 1st -> 2nd, but this has always been the case with my tranny.

I'm looking at getting the JWT kit soon.

Does shifting feel any different from stock at WOT? What about in manumatic mode?

How much power do you figure a stock tranny can take?

Anyone blown a stock tranny on a boosted motor?

Yea its been done before like two or three times i will suggest not to go to crazy modding the engine to put out much power becouse you can snap that tranny like its all good. Put a kit and tune it to a safe level no more then 380 rwhp or so to be on the safe side if its a daily driver.

480rwhp 91octane
540+ rwhp 104 octane and bye bye tranny
if you upgrade to let say an sgp valve body w/ a upgraded torque converter
be sure to check your line presure due to the fact that w/ the presure turned up in the valve body which means more fluid and less fluid for everything else such as the torque converter, which in turn burn the clutch plates in the torque converter and transmission.
Have fun!!!!

What does everyone think of a transcooler?
Tuning Factory is throwing one custom made on mine this week for me... Gonna be installed in the rear near the exhausts like the Z tune GT-R... and will be a nice transcooler IMO... I think it will help out the 400whp pressure... valve body would be nice though too... Just need more money now!

Excellent idea. Please post some pics when it's done. This is another mod I've been considering.
