DynoDynamics does not offer SAE correction. They use atmospheric correction, but not official SAE constants.

311whp on an uncorrected DynoDynamics dyno is probably about right. We dyno stock Z's at 195-200whp without correction on the DynoDynamics dyno.

The higher trq number could be a result of the ECU reflash tune...either too much timing retard, or too rich up top...so your power falls off prematurely.

I just got off the phone with a few people, and they really urged me to take it to a local dynojet. I'll get the sheet up when I get it.

That was my mistake then to say SAE corrected without knowing for sure. They did say it with air quotes "SAE correction" when he put the thing on my airfilter. I made an appointment for next Thurs on a Dynojet. The shop is pretty uptight about imports, so lets hope they stick to the scheduled time. Unfortunately here in Louisiana we don't have many dynos.

I do know my butt dyno says it a LOT faster than it was. The car with stock wheels and tires breaks loose in 3rd, which is a pretty big smile factor.

+1 on the dyno dynamics. FWIW, We have one around here that is typically 50hp less than a Dynojet (and about 30hp less than a Mustang). They call it the heartbreak dyno.
BTW, my torque is also considerably higher than the HP.

+1

Dynodynamic yielded a 298 whp for me and a dynojet gave me 370. Go figure

Based on everything listed here you should definitely attempt to get on a Dynojet dyno ASAP to get some other numbers

Hmm, +1 on the Dyno #'s being "ok" for that kind of dyno. Dont wig out yet, wait to see what the dynojet numbers are

I think its a combination of dyno and possibly a leak somewhere. Running that rich is not normal.

Yeah that will be the next thing i do.
Mia the car has been idling odd. It will jump around about 100-200 rpm's, and lean out into the 16's. Is that normal and im being a pranoid driver? This thing makes all kinds of nice smells as it is breaking

The idle will occasionally jump a bit as the ECU attempts to scale the larger injectors at idle and keep you at 14.7:1. You should be at ~950 RPMs at idle with a steady 14.7:1 and vacuum of 20hg/in This will jump a bit but should always return to these numbers..

Mine will idle around 800rpm and at 15.5 then if it idles long enough it will begin to get very rough, idle at 600rpm and between 17.5 to 19 on my wideband. other than the idle issue it runs awesome. It gets down to about 11.5 at WOT. This idle issue was present the first time I fired up the car with the TN kit installed. My vacuum is at a solid 19 Hg at idle regardless of rpm and A/F. Anyone have any ideas???

Perhaps the car is detonating and the det-sensor is pulling timing.

Timing alone can steal 40-50 WHP.

What kind of fuel...Octane?

My first guess isn't the Dyno. I think Knock...

Put some race fuel and then redyno. If the results are considerably higher, it is detonation and the det-sensor is robbing you.

DETONATION KILLS POWER AND MOTORS

Be careful, if this is the problem, you may be in danger of damaging your motor. Just thoughts.

Something isn't right. My car dyno'd 366 hp 372 ft-lbs after my TN install on a Dyno Dynamics dyno with no other mods.
