Default Just dyno'd the new TN kit

Numbers are VERY lackluster. I am actually a bit bummed they are so low. I made 311 hp and 356 tq. I was really hoping for 350 out of the car. I will have the dynp up in a bit. The guys printer broke today, so he is emailing it to me when they shut down. It was a Dyno Dynamics dyno.

Wow thats not right... What was AFR? Peak boost pressure? Correction factor on the dyno? 311 is VERY low... any boost leaks?

SAE corrected, 8lb's of boost and the a/f got fatter and fatter as it approached 10.6 at full boost

10.6 is a bit rich. Sub 11s isn't bad. 10.6 is ok I guess. Those numbers are VERY low though. What other mods on the car? Plenum or spacer installed? Dyno Dynamics are usually lower then Dynojet but thats very low. I wonder what correction if any they applied to the numbers.

The thing is a boost leak may not always result in lower peak pressure or even bad vacuum readings. For instance a G35 locally was hitting 8.3 PSI of boost, vacuum on his gauge was dead on, his AFR was in the 10s but he only made like 289 RWHP. The car was troubleshot and after replacing the leaking aftermarket plenum with a stock one the car made 360+ One way to tell for sure is to pressurize the intake tract and see if there are any leaks...

The guy that installed it all used a "smoke" machine, and found no leaks.

The torque being that much higher in relation to horsepower tells me something isn't right. +1 for the boost leak.

Yes the car made 233.8 HP w/ a pop charger. I will get the chart up ASAP. I'll get a before and after. They did 4th gear pulls originally, and the car made 301! So i asked them to do a 5th gear pull as someone said it's closer to a 1:1 ratio and got 311 hp.

Just to cover everything I can think of now... make sure your vacuum lines are routed as follows:

Line from compressor outlet to wastegate lower port (furthest from logo)
Line from plenum to upper BOV port (closest to logo)

The problem with a boost leak at the plenum is it may never show up until you put it under boost . Mine didnt . I had to preasurize the whole system with an air compressor to find it . I added two gaskets to the plenum to get it to seal under boost
