Just dyno'd the new TN kit
I may just limp around until i can get on another dyno. I called the shop and asked a what else they had been dynoing yesterday. They had an s2000 on the dyno before me. With a Header, Cat back, stand alone, and tune it made about 190 hp. That seems really low as well?

Not the Dyno. I still believe you may have detonation. Your car can detonate and still have amazing A/F ratios if your timing and voltage are struggling.
Try using 103 to 110 octane. With that the chances of you detonating are slim to none. IF you dyno higher, HELLO, the answer.

With a stock exhaust and plenum he would be the first ever to detontate like that. Unless there is a boost leak/vacuum leak somewhere he's not likely detonating. But yes that would be yet another way to test that..

Even with the UTEC/tune you are detonating on pump gas?
No without the utec even in the car the stock TN tune making my **** detonate its no mystery i have no idea why and multiple sources have seen and heard the detonation. but runs like a champ with race gas =)

whats up with stage 1.5, i dyno'd last week and hit 350 hp and 375 tq but i realized i had a leak in the plenum due to a piece of the rubber funnel around the oil intake being stuck in between the plenum, i took it out and the difference is not that noticable, i read about all this breaking loose in third and i barley break loose in second with stock tires. but the car is alot faster i've beat a c6 and hung with a zo6. what does detonation sound like?

sand hitting the firewall comes and goes not a constent sound depends how bad, and your af ratio can say all is good but still detonate due to too much timing

I may try that out. I have an apt for the 20th a diff dyno. I am going to just put around until then and see what happens. If its still low, then i will have to look into that. If it is infact detonation, what can i do at this point?
