If you do end up buying a used Z and decide to build the motor I would do the following..

Arias 9:1 Extreme Duty Pistons (a little more but are bullet proof)
Pauter Rods (see above note)
ARP hardware
JWT S2 cams
ATS triple disc carbon clutch
Level 5 axels
ATS or Quaife LSD
Turbonetics Stage II kit (includes fuel return kit, injectors, boost control, EMS and everything needed to get you into the numbers you want)

There are several vendors here who could help you do this. My personal preference is Forged Internals for the ATS and motor building stuff. A lot of members got their engine parts from him and he can get the motor built and dialed in for you. Send him your car and he can even install everything and have it tuned.

sick, see the Z i'm looking at getting is a 06 grand touring, with tax comes to 57 000 canandian dollars (rediculous i know) i cna find some 03 Z for about 31000 canadian, or even 35 000 for an 04 with lower mileage, now right there is 22 000$ saved for mods. But with all this done to the car, will it be a reliable car? it will be a daily driver maybe even through winter, unless it's really bad weather.

Sharifs built motor Z with the items I mentioned above is daily driven at 600+ RWHP. Its all about the quality of the parts you use to build the motor. You can get an 03 used track model here for like $25-30k depending on the miles. If you buy it and ship it straight to Forged Internals with a list of what you want he will do the work install the parts and deliver you a car with a dyno sheet. There are other shops that can do this as I said before. I just prefer Sharif since he has already done this to other Zs.

Yes Sharif owns Forged Internals...Typical price for shipping from Cali to NC is like $500-700 depending. Gotta love depreciation on cars

Ara, as the time approaches, feel free to contact me with any question about your motor build-up and tuning. I know it can be overwhelming, but I will simplify it for you

There a few different piston/rod options, based on your power goals.
