ok i ll try this again. p0300 is a universal code, meaning not manufacturer specific. if you look it up on the internet, it is multi cylinder/random misfire. this code is being thrown because more than one cylinder is misfiring. since you have a fuel system lean code as well (p0171), this would be the cause of the misfire. something is preventing bank one from getting enough fuel and causing more than one cylinder to not fire correctly. now is the fuel rail clogged, are injectors clogged, is there an electrical problem with the injectors, this needs to be the direction of diagnostic. 1 bank leaning out will throw p0300. it would be helpful if you knew which cylinders are misfiring. does this happen at idle, under load, cruising????? goodluck!

SES light came on, went off, came on went off. each time it was like after thirty minutes of driving. anyway, it has been out for three days now. i think it was a stale tank of gas or the gas cap not tight, or both. car is running great now. idle is fine with the occasional hic up. my buddies TN Z does the same thing. when it hic ups it gets lean for a few seconds then goes back to normal. before it would stay lean for a good while.

and remember folks the 9 o'clock show is not the same as the 7 o'clock show. PS-p0300 normally happens with an aftermarket fuel system or large injectors.
