Default Are these really APS TT injectors? I don't think so

During my motor build, my shop installed RC 650 injectors and an AAM fuel return system. When I picked my car up, I asked for the original APS injectors back. They gave me these, they dont even look like they'd fit a Z:

I said, "Are you sure? They don't look like the ones I installed when I originally installed the turbo kit, I thought mine said 'Bosche' on them.."

They assured me that they were in fact my APS injectors. I wasn't going to stand there and argue with them because I had no proof. Well, these are what the APS injectors look like:

Nah, those aren't stock Subaru injectors...the injectors supplied with the APS TT system are Bosch injectors.

Sorry about your troubles Chris. I too switched out my injectors to RC 650's with SGP, only I got back the RC 550's that were in the car when I gave it to them. I also got back the 11psi waste gate springs they switched out for the 5.5psi springs. Good Guys over at SGP. I am sure you can't wait to get your car there.

I knew something was up when I asked for my APS inj's back. They were like, "hmm, aren't they in the box with your other parts?" "No." "Okay, let me go find them..." Then they come back a few minutes later with these hoax's. I said they didn't look like the real deal, but they assured me they were, even had their head tech come over and look at them. "Yea, those are APS." he said.

They probably sold mine and thought I would't be smart enough to:

A. Ask for them back
B. Recognize they were not my APS injectors.

Nothing. This isn't the first time I've heard this shop is shady. I'm surprised they've enjoyed such a good reputation up until this point.

Sorry to hear about more troubles.

I think they F^cked up. Those are my stock injectors I left with them in case I went with a set of the modified stockers this spring. It may have been a shady deal, or just a screw up. I am sure they will resolve it. Even the stock injectors have value for a deposit.

The Z uses 2 different stock injectors. One set is purple, and the other set is black. I don't know if there is a rhyme or a reason to which injector a car gets.

The black ones look like Bosch stock injectors.

There are actually 5 diffrent versions for stock injectors for the Z, if you dont beleive me call nissan. I happen to just buy a set of stock injectors of a member here for $50 bucks. The ones in my 03 Z are the purple ones listed above. The ones i bought are off a 04.5 car and ARE the black injectors listed in your original post. If you look at the writting one of the numbers is "280" because the stock injectors are 280cc.

So basically they gave you a set of stock injectors.

After looking at Tig's comparison, I remembered that my stockers were in fact purple. There's no way they could confuse these with the APS Bosche's though, not after installing dozens of APS kits....

We'll see what happens tomorrow. Who knows it could all be some huge mistake. As long as "We'll send you your APS injectors back" is at the end of the sentence, we're all good. If not....oh lordy, is **** gonna get ugly!

Chris,

Sorry for the confusion. Those injectors pictured are definitely stock 350Z injectors, believe it or not. I just got word of this news and will locate for you, your APS Bosch injectors. I'll ship them out to you asap. If you have any questions please feel free to call me.

Best regards,

Tuan Nguyen
