Sorry to bring this back from the dead but this is the exact question I have.
If 6-6.5 psi is all that's planned, will the stock injectors at 290cc do the trick? I'm selling a UTEC, but also have a Walbro 255 and 440cc injectors that I recommended go with it, but the guy isn't sure about that and would rather use the stock injectors since he's only going ~6 psi.
I know it's no bueno to consistently push your injectors above 80% duty cycle and was wondering if he'd be running into this problem in the upper RPM range, given 6.5 psi at 6500 rpm.
He does have an inline pump that can be added to raise fuel pressure, so the 290cc injectors could see ~58 psi instead of 43.5, so would that do the trick?
