Hks :(
It seems like HKS is done with the S/C kit. A few people are telling me that they are moving on to single and twin turbo set ups; which is good but after doing all my research i finally decided to go with that s/c kit and now they are tossing it. One other down side to this is we all no HKS $$$ no doubt they will have some real nice stuff but on the other side the price is going to break many pockets. Now i really dont know what to do i was planning on buying the kit in june but who knows now what will be out im looking for a little bump in power for my car maybe there single turbo set up will be what i was looking for?

However, it really depends on your goals. What are they?

chimmike im sure he went and just took a peak at the forums and saw everyones problems, the turbonetics with its boost spiking and flash not be able to compensate for exhausts, stuff like that, stillen ive never really seen something go wrong unless it was installer error

yeah, and my reflash compensated for my exhaust perfectly. Hell, under full boost, with my nismo exhaust and plenum spacer, I'm still in the high 10s afr wise, on 93 octane! (Headroom IS GREAT!) haha.
If you want to supercharge.
Vortech is the way to go.
If there was a CARB TT set up? I would do that being that I live in CALI.
Still waiting to see how things go with the JWT.

Although i have seen the kit in person many time and thought that it look good a few shops around her said that the crafsmanship is not the best also? Im not agreeing im just keeping my ears open to everything since im not the one that install them i figur they would know best. All i can do is keep reading and talking to people in person about there kits and whats good and bad about there kits. Im hoping this weekend at the AAM meet i will be able to see and feel alot of the kits and get some real feedback from people.
The reason you haven't read of many issues with the HKS kit is that A) It's HKS, and B) About 3 people own it.
yeah i know that to more people will go with anothor option then hks cause of the $$$ so more people buy one thing there be more problems reported. This sucks i think i have to do more research i wish you live around here so that i could ride in your car 412 with 431 tq i know feels good as $hit if i had that power i would prolly have nothing bad to say about them either... but in all honesty im just starting over my research with a clear head. i hope it comes out the T-netics kit cause its by far still one of the cheaper options to go seeing is how you can get them for 4300-5000

The kit is going to end up being the most flexible and complete FI kit on the market once they release the stage upgrades.

It's going to be a complete tunable kit with full fuel system. I'm guessing people will be pushing close to 440-450whp on the stock motor and with a solid tune on 1.5. Turbonetics is also planning a stage 2 upgrade which you can go with if you decide to build your motor, which should be good for 600+whp.
