[quote=CpraceZ]hahaha every post seems to turn into a battle on what kits better, back to the point, I would get it on the dyno and see where it is at power wise, this will also help to see if you have any belt slippage issues.
I hear you....gets rather old when a guy starts a thread about a SC , and every newly turboed G or Z guy, comes in stating thier superiority over the SC .
Yes...putting it on a dyno will expose any problems .

thank you I wish everyone would stop bashing other kits, each kit has its pros and cons and honestly by now with all the bashing on each kit we see we know all the issues, so come on lets make this FI forum something useful, so we can help some of these new guys to FI out with issues, and not bash every kit out there.

Definitely have your car dyno tuned, I am making 384hp on the stock pulley at 9-10 PSI i am about to buy injectors and the 3.12 pulley to try and pull past 400hp hopefully around similar boost levels. Once your car is dynoed tuned the right way a N/A G35 will not be anywhere near you.

Any Vortech peeps out there running 3.9 gears?

hmm yeah - what type/brand of tire you running?
I'm currently running 295 michelin PS2's in the rear, but am going to try going with 315 yokohama AO48's with the 3.9 gears and vortech running about the same power level as you. We'll see if it works out, but the gears and light clutch make a big differnce in getting more oomph

Nice dyno numbers man, did you ever dyno vortech without cams, or were the cams on first? How does the car feel, totally insane?

SJA177,
I did everything at once, so I can't tell you what I got out of each component. But I was told that I'd probably see an extra 35-40 whp by adding cams into the mix.
Thanks for the kind words btw...

I've got Vortech SC, Crawford Cats, Headers, Plenum and Borla TD exhaust! Put down way over 400, love the kit, love the power love everything about it. That's the main thing when picking FI, and I think it will hang with or outrun just about anything in it's class that hasn't had exstensive engine work done!

I don't have my sheet online, but it was 420 on the nose. I'm fairly sure it was the dynojet, supose to be fairly accurate. I have everything that McDuck has except for cams so his numbers are very similar to mine if you want to do a search with his name and look at his numbers as well. I'm very happy with it just make sure you get someone who is gonna do great work and a good tune is very important. Don't get cheap on either one of those or it might bite you in the ***.
