Default TN KIT with different exhaust???

hey guys, i read on another forum that changing your stock exhaust with TN kit is VERY dangerous... i changed mine to a full 3" out with Apex'i N1 turbo nuffler with a high flow vibrant 3" cat... i seem to be ok. Anyone having any issues or heard of anything or anyone blowing their engines? i havent dynoed mine wiht the new exhaust, but my A/F guage says I'm still in the mid-high 11's under full thottle... lemme know guys tahnks

If you havent got a new waste gate pipe there are some isssues of possibly overboosting that is all. The new pipe is out, you should try and see if you could get this. Because I think this is tech overboosting for the stock kit.....check this out.....https://my350z.com/forum/forced-induction/163095-tnetics-overboost-w-aftermarket-exhaust-list.html

yes, they said lots of people are blowing them up with aftermarket exhaust... just wanted to verify cause ill slap my stock exhaust back on if its true haha. And no, i havent gotten a new waste gate pipe. Im boosting roughly 9.5 psi. i think thats how my kit came cause i never changed it the boost... what you think?

if it is no sweat for you Id put on your stock an patiently wait for the pipe....best way. Or you could gamble it and maybe just end up with a built motor! remember you pay to play!

Stock boost is 8-8.5psi. The overboost fix (wastegate relocation) gets sent out to you if you put yourself on a list under some thread "TN overboost" or something like that. If your car is not detonating, and running well then dont worry, the flash is good for 9.5psi.

It varies man. Some guys run slightly larger than 3" which is 80mm, and have no issues, others run 2.5" and overboost. Borla Ive seen go both ways. Borla is not terrible for FI, reverse y-pipe 2.5" TD is decent.....but anyways thats why you have an overboost.

yeah if you feel like paying somebody to take off your turbo and all that $hit then do it. but like i said earlier if your a/f's are good, and you dont detonate then just leave it....

Also keep in mind gauge variance based on environmental factors. If you are that concerned PM blk180sx with your info and he will send you the new pipes. Honestly Ryan I think you worry too much..
