GReddy can send you a "base map" that you can load into depending on the car. Just e-mail or call them!... just don't use that map, it still needs be tuned alot.

Probably would need the harness to plug into the ECU also

Booger all the harnesses and the EU are universal. You don't need anything, but I would recommend the autosport harness. I saw one in the classifieds for like $200.

the plug and play harness is the autosport harness. It's not made by greddy. If you don't have the harness you wire it in directly to the factory harness. I think it is similar to how you wire the ss box.

Does it include the greddy pressure sensor and harness, and A/F ratio input harness? If so its a really good deal!

Would you tune a sc with the map pressure harness? I know above 7 or 8psi on a turbo you want to map tune, but I didn't think it was the same for a sc. When I had the vortech with the 3.12 I was maf tuned.

Did you run the SS box ? If you did , you were tuned MAP ....vacuum line running to the box .

That's why I am getting confused. I never ran the Vortech with the SS box. I used the emanage witht he Vortech and it was tuned via maf. After I went TT I got the map pressure sensor.

JWT TT kit has the SS box with it .As does the Stillen SC . So it actually isnt bad as every one thinks it is . It has an internal MAP sensor that the vacuum line runs to . The problem Im might run into is that it only goes up to 16psi . JWT's may have a custom box on thiers for other features . I know you can have one made to what you need

the only reason I went with the emanage over the SS box was that no one in my area knew how to tune the SS box. Yes they could have learned it, but I would have cost me to do so, so I just went with the emanage.

Really simple to use , once you know how to make changes and know what to look for in the settings

You have a fuel map...with vacuum and boost
and a timing map with the same vacuum and boost

10 in the fuel map means no change to the stock ECU...add or subtract from 10

timing map is [0] no timing change . Put a 1 in any cell and it retards timing by one degree .
box it self retards timing by 1.5 degree's right off the bat from signal delay

The eclipse, IIRC has a pNp Harness. So you will just need an EU complete harness for $100 and you are good to go, after wiring it up. Honestly, you are saving about $130 buying this thing used. I would try to pick it up for a little less...maybe $400.

Makes sense. The items you need for the VQ35 are the main unit, the complete harness, pressure sensor, and pressure sensor harness.
