Default My Pics Of My Blown Block.......

Well pics speak for themselfs.....look at the pic with the pistons and rods and see the rod on the left with no piston that looks like it has 2 ***** at the top?? Those 2 "*****" are a piston.... FUKED up **** eh..what you guys think?? This is what happens when you beat on your car everyday on a stock block at 15psi and rev it to 9000rpms... I had fun while it lasted now it's time for more fun...

Been driving stick for 5 years and the one and only time I misshift is in my z on the stock block.. I was in 3rd at redline and shifted to 2nd instead of 4th...the tach went past 8000rpms into where the mileage reads... anyways time to build and I can rev to 8000rpms all day long..

Sorry to hear, dam that brings back memories. I wish I had some pics of my block to show you guys. I snapped all six rods, put three holes in the side of the block, and cracked 2 pistons in half. Well good luck with the new build up !!!

Holly Crap...only people like us can get excited on how fuked up that engine is! We of course know, by the looks of that block of metal, what fun it produced before melting!!! Of course since you ( and the general public ) knew you would be building eventually this is the case. I don't have the funds right now to build so I want to make it atleast a year without "mis-shifting" or otherwise blowing my motor. I want the rebuild to be on my time...not the my melted block's time! My car is such a blast and the only thing now that could make it better would be just a little more peace of mind.
Hey Brian I want a ride. We can make another vid now that my car is running right...you know if you need some "back drop" of your soon to be jet.

About 4 months....and I redline my car in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd gear everyday it was running great till I misshifted and it went downhill from there...it would still be running if I didn't misshift...

WOW... That is the worst I ever saw -- only comparable to the guy who blew his stock block running a 300 shot of nitrous. I guess anything worth doing (even blowing your block) is worth doing well. Way to be a sport about it.

Good luck with your build. Did flying parts destroy anything else in the engine bay?
