Default My greddy tt project story! tuned to 486 hp @9.5

I installed the kit and mods (list in sig) in my garage on jack stands did it all in a very lazy 3 weeks but really took my time and did a very clean install. I brought the car to mac auto in parker Colorado and nick tuned the utec and did an amazing tune on the car. I have the map on my computer but cant view the drf. file. But pulled 488 hp at 9.5. We went for a ride after the tune on the way back the car started to run rough and low on power. we pulled back in and were sitting there when the car started to smoke. Looked like it was instantly blown HG. so I had the car towed back to my place when I got to thinking it just didn’t seem like it was the hg because it started doing it while I was just barely going well I started checking stuff out and noticed one of the cylinders was full of fuel !! one of the injectors stuck. so I dried it out taped on the injector and it did un-stick I could see on my fuel pressure gauge that in held pressure now when off, so I put it all back together and it runs great pull soooper hard but now it will not idle. I will idle perfect when I first start it but after the cold start is over it idles down when at running temp and it starts to lope really bad, Then dies. right after it was tuned it would idle fine. I was maxing out my injectors up high so I need to get 550's but im wondering if that injector is now not 100% and that is why it does not idle ? I just want to make sure this why my car will not idle. I have gone over the car with a tube for my ear looking for vac leaks. My boost boost gauge says vac is at 18. wich is what it was at orig. when it would idle right. I can hold the gas pedal at any rpm and it is very smooth. Maybe i simply need to have the ecu programed ? my car is a 2005 any info would be great thanks fellas.

the idle problem could be that injector sticking open again.

my car does the same exact thing... I have 750cc injectors and cams though. My original ecu blew up and would not take a flash, so I went to the dealer and they covered the new ecu under warrenty. My new ecu is currently at AAM getting a reflash and I am going to raise the idle. I must say... I am a little disappointed with the UTEC... I originally bought it because turbo XS said it could control all of these things...

wow I really messed up my post =/ I guess i was sooper tired. I checked the resistence on all the injectors and they were the same, even on the one that stuck. The only reason i dont think its the injector is because when it is reved to the right rpm it runs great. It simply just idles to low, low enough that the motor shakes and it sounds bad. I just dont get why it didnt do it before. Im wondering if i had the heater on a little bit and the motor would idle up and that is why it wouldnt die ? I am going to try to get the maps up soon. =)

This is the exact problem that I am having with my car I have this in another post. https://my350z.com/forum/forced-induction/180115-need-help-retuning-with-return-fuel-system-and-emanage.html

I have been looking at everything and it has to be some kind of a vac leak somewhere. Do you know what your AFR is sitting at when it is trying to idle?

How did you get the dealer to replace your ecu under warranty?
and do you know why it "blew?"

I have no Idea why it "blew". All I know is that when the dealer tried hooking up the OBD port it would not accept anything. They were actually really cool, the owner is part of the Gateway Z club... all i know is that it saved me $400...that is about the only good thing that has happened so far!
