Default exhaust with turbonetics?

I have the turbonetics turbo with the JIC 3 inch exhaust with a resonator on my 350Z. I am having trouble making power past 5500 RPM and think that it might be do to much back pressure from the exhaust. I will have the car on the Dyno in the next couple of days to test my theory. I will make the few runs with the exhaust on and a few with the exhaust off at the mid pipe to see if this helps.

The question that I have is what is the best exhaust for the turbonetics turbo with the least amount of back pressure?

I have the Apexi WS2 and its been fine for me. A while back tig488 removed his JIC and found that the resonator narrowed down the piping to like 1.75" or something horrible. Get rid of that and you should see some good power gains.

Do you have a wideband A/F gauge? Because you losing power at 5K rpm could be you going to rich with the ECU Re-Flash program.

Also which JIC exhaust? Isn't Tig488 a dual muffler cat-back? Oh hell I went to the drag strip with him a while back why can't I remember lol.

+1 !! Remove the resonator, and add a proper diameter resonator if you want or put up with loudness. Thats why I went with the non-resonated, no worries of this happening, and its one of the straightest systems you can get. Light too (9.8lbs) if you opted for full Ti
