Exclamation RPM Signal Heed Help fast!

My car is at brainstorm right now and amongst other things I had the Racelogic Traction control installed but it needs to get a RPM signal and since the ECU does not have a direct line for that they are kinda stuck right now and I'm hoping to get the car back today.

Anyone know where they can splice in or will I need a special adapter for this?

time is of the essence....

Thanks

MSD tach driver! Hey I just got done installing a RLTC on my friends SC300-2JZGTE-T76 car and I have to say I was impressed. Make sure you get Graham's little program/interface. It lets you change some parameters the regular RL program won't. Here's the yahoo group that has all the programs. http://autos.groups.yahoo.com/group/RLTC/files/ It's in the Windows editor folder. Good luck. Once it's up and running you will love it!

I ordered the greddy rpm adapter and had it overnighted. It's only $10 compared to the MSD. Hopefully it makes it to brainstorm by tomorrow.

thanks for your help Sharif

racelogic actually replied back as well and stated that Crank Angle Sensor and Fuel Injector is not sufficient for this. They recommend the negative side of a coil pack

I still don't get why one can't just splice into the tach on the dash cluster...I mean it's getting the signal from somewhere doesn't it?

o the reason you cant use the actuall tach wire is because it doesnt use a typical +12 volt signal, it uses whats callec CAN BUS which is basically micropulses of data that you cannot interpret without a computer. my shift light needs a 5-12 volt readout and i thought the injector would do it! after tapping it i now know it doesnt work. This dam thing has given me so much grief
