Default Anybody running Nismo R-Tune clutch/flywheel w/ F/I?

I have an opportunity to obtain a Nismo R-Tune clutch/flywheel, but I'm having a heck of a time finding any info about them to determine if it's suitable for a 400 WHP car.

Does anyone have stats on this, i.e. weight, power rating, etc or a link to a site that does (that is in english)?

I realize this is probably a "drivetrain forum" question, but the parts would be going on an F/I car, so I was wondering if any of the F/I guys are using one and if it's appropriate for this application.

Thanks guys.

Kelly

Kelly... Hey if and when my trans gets replaced (car goes in on the 19th) I'll be upgrading to this clutch as well. After talking to my friend Jason, who owns a Daytona Blue Track Z (since 2003) and has had his clutch replaced. He told me stock clamping force is 550kg the Nismo R clutch is 1300kg. So, more than twice stock clamping, from what he said. He isn't F/I so I can't say anything on that question. He did however say that if you want to avoid nasty vibration below 2000rpms to NOT get the Nismo flywheel and just keep the stock one (he has the Nismo on his car, which isn't his daily driver so he didn't mind). I plan on going with a stock flywheel because I don't need vibration on a car I'll be driving more often than not. Hope that helps man. Let me know if you need more info... I'll be talking to Jason later today after 4pm.

I don't think the Nismo clutch has the holding power for what you are making honestly..Joe (aka alpine) had the Nismo clutch I believe and had some issues with it slipping on his APS TT. The JWT is priced a bit better and has shown to hold fine...

Bump!

I am not FI yet, but i plan on going FI within the next 8 months. I'm looking to be around the 450-475whp. The engine will be built and it is my daily driver...so im not looking for a lot of chatter...any recommendations on a light weight(but not to lightweight lol 15-20 pound) flywheel?

Does anyone know if the Nismo flywheel can handle 400+ WHP and 400+ torque? I can't find specs or reviews anywhere.

Thanks!
