Default ceramic, thermal coatings

as some of you that have ordered the ceramic coated w/g kits from me have noticed, my guy doing it is hard to nail down with scheduling and setting the time limits past what i would like to see.
in responce to this i willl be set up at my own shop to perform ceramic and internal engine heat barrier and moving part coatings by the end of the week. i am working on a price list, but this will be a big help to me and hopefully members who need this type of work performed. we are aiming towards motor builds and see this as a big benefit towards keeping costs down and turn around times realistic also.
currently waiting for all literature from the coating materials manufacturer to make sure we have all the tools required to do all internal and external coatings, but from a phone conversation, we should be ready to go very quickly. thanks

scott

Awesome man. Getting my pipes coated delayed my install unexpectedly by about a week.

thanks steve. i'm pretty excited about it. tons of different applications for all the different coaings we will be able to perform. my main purpose is to keep shipping times down, but as time goes on i feel this will turn into a full time job i will need to hire someone for to keep up with local customers, lol.
many other products waiting to get made and tested right now, but effiecientcy is hurting me right now. things like this will help tremendously to up my production leaving more time for new products.

Good to hear man

Out of curiosity, which would be better, to have thermal coating done or to wrap using header/exhaust wrap?

wrap is a good way to go and abit cheaper. but if you need to remove the pieces you wrapped, there is a good chance you will not be able to reuse it. ceramic you can also coat the insides to help further to keep the heat from even being able to soke into the metal. i have all my manifolds and turbos wrapped right now and can't wait to ceramic coat them all when my car comes apart again very shortly.
i'm looking forward to the thermal coatings on pistons and chambers. plus the friction coatings for the bearings. i'm gunna be a coatin' fool on my car, lol.

What's the different between ceramic and jet hot? Which method is better at keeping the heat down? I'm a noob at this subject and about to get my pipes coated. Thanks.

the difference is the name. 95% of all ceramic, thermal, friction, and many more coatings are purchased from the supplier i am using, some just put their name on the side of the can and resell it, lol.
