Default jwt s1 cam + turbo + stock everting else?

how much boost can the z's engine take if you start reving it higher up.... (say..7,200rpm) does it effect anything at all. or is it a bomb, with stock internals +cam/springs + turbo.

My opinion is your already doubling the output of the engine. You don't need to rev it past the stock red line on top of that. That will most likely put more wear or kill your engine faster. However, some people have done it to 7000 and that seems to suit them well. Im a lil reluctant now to try that.
I have the APS TT w/cams @28kmiles on them

If tuned correctly, You are safe at 8.5 PSI on Pump and up to 11 PSI on Race Fuel on the road and track. However the tuning is KEY...

In my opinion, I don't think it is the boost level as much as the amount of airflow/pressure, timing, compression, and fuel. All issues are needed to be addressed.

However, we have seen motor detonate on low boost as well as high so there isn't a simple answer to that.
