Default Going Greddy TT on 06 (have ?s)

Hey guys,

I'm going to buy a Greddy TT kit for my 06 Z this week and I have some questions.

Has anyone actually installed a Greddy kit on an 06 yet? I think I remember reading that someone had and that there were no fitment issues (Unlike the TN kit, for example, that apparently requires chargepipe modification).

Does the Greddy kit come with the injector harness? I know it doesn't come with the ignition harness.

Does anyone know if the ECU pinouts are different in the 06? I'm assuming not but just thought I'd ask.

I read something about the Emanage burning out coils. Is this an issue and is there a fix for it? (I'll be running this until I can afford better engine management.)

I'm planning on getting some test pipes, cutting them up, and welding in a couple Quicktime Electronic Cut-outs. Does anyone know which are the biggest test pipes? The only ID specs I could find was APS at 2.5 inches.

Thanks ahead of time everyone.

APS makes a 3.5" test pipe as well

I think those are turbo-back test pipes so they can't be used with Greddy's turbos.

We haven't done any Greddy on 06 but we have APS which uses the unichip harness with the ECU so pinouts should be the same.

It does come with the injector harness

Using diodes seemed to help but still have to be careful avout leaving the ignition on

AAM makes 3" Downpipes/test pipes

Great info.

I really appreciate it. So as far as these diodes go, where do I get them and where do I install them? If I remember right, the Emanage ignition harness intercepts the signal from the ECU to the plug/coil, so I'm assuming I install them inbetween the Emanage and coils.

We've installed the GReddy Twin Turbo Kit on two 06' G35 coupes. Everything fit fine.

Does the Greddy kit come with the injector harness? I know it doesn't come with the ignition harness.

It does come with the injector harness.

As long as you do not leave your key to the "on" position while the car is not running, you should be okay until you can afford better engine managent. We utilized the UTEC & AAM Fuel System for both of our 06' installations.

We offer 3" pipes for the GReddy Twin Turbo kits!

Ahh, with open dump tubes too. Nice. Those are so pretty, I'd feel bad about cutting them up.

They're turbo-back too!

I'm going to be installing this kit myself. Does anyone know of any other advice or issues that I should be aware of. I'm not anticipating too much trouble with this (or at least as much as I've had with previous projects).

The installation is pretty straight forward. Extra care needs to be taken with the oil lines, to ensure there is no leaking. Or you could get one of our AAM Oil Pan spacer with GReddy TT Oil Line kit to ensure a leak free installation.

If you'd like give us a call when your installing and we can give you some pointers.

Hope this helps,
