Default Vortech Advice needed

I have a brand new short block coming and I would like to put a set of weisco 8.8 to 1 pistons and eagle rods. I have the vortech kit and I would like to make as much power as possible safe on pump gas. Is this the best thing to do? Different pistons or rods? I would like to make 450+ to the ground. The car already has TB, return style fuel system with aeromotive regulater, headers, full exhaust, 440cc injectors, plenum, flywheel and clutch, technosquare ECU, vortech kit.

If it were me, and I had to build my motor, i would probably sell the vortech and go with some sort of turbo app. It would just make better use of all the money you spent on the motor, although there are many people with built motors running vortech (upgraded) making big numbers..

If your looking to make 450whp, the vortech will sufice as is for sure, but remember, the lower compression you go, the more boost you will need to compensate for. You may need to upgrade the blower, and good luck finding a 2.87 pulley

Well I already have the vortech so I want to stay with it as for the pulley I called vortech today and they said they had it in stock, but maybe they were just mistaken.

They make a 2.87, but not for the 350Z, atleast thats what I was told, their "standard 2.87" wont fit out kit
