Angry 5at and having problem with entering the gears?

Anyone have problems entering the gears in shift mode? I have problems entering 3. I have a Greddy TT kit with a Emanage Ultimate, VB From SGP and a Torque Converter from SGP too but when I want to put third fast it didn't enter I need to get my feet off the gas pedal enter and then push it again. I have 400+ whp. Anyone???

I would call up SGP and ask. I hope your tranny internals are not going, because i heard nothing but praises so far from SGP. I just sent out my valve body, and torque converter to get worked on, but im NA though so maybe turbo put more strain on the tranny. Also did you have a tranny cooler after those upgrades?

Thanks Glen

Thats a sign that the tranny is going and specially 3rd which is one of the weak clutch packs.

Start looking for a tranny.

+1. How long on the new VB from SGP? Did you get a different VB from SGP or did they upgrade your stock one?

Default I am sorry to hear (CALL SGP)

Yes, that is exactly what is about to happen (tranny failure) .My car has the same symptoms, then few miles later my 3 and 4 clutches are gone. I just bought new tranny from my local dealer to keep me going until somebody comes with the real deal. I can not wait for somebody to come up with the real solution to this problem. NO BODY! not even SGP know exactly when it will happen. I called SGP last week to ask them about there tranny upgrade and they told me that is going to be 6 more months, that is the same answer I got about 4 months ago when they first posted (full tranny upgrade) at there website. In the mean time try to not boost the car to much, hopefully some we will come up with a tranny upgrade capable of 400+ HP. GOOD LUCK!!!!!

Cesar

Cesar search around there was a post about someone who built a tranny that holds 5-600 rwhp. I think he was in maryland. It was a custom setup.

Well I think it can't be the clutches because the entering of the gears depnde on the VB not in the clutches (I think) The problem in the clutches I have it too because th tranny goes slipping in all the gears.
Captj3 if you know who is this person who modified the tranny please let me know I'm very interested. Thanks for the answers

Ok im going to explain something. I spoke to mark around 2 weeks ago he told me that the clutch packs r not built yet around 3 months or so to finished building them. Now once they r done they will try like 6 different materials to see which holds better this will easily be another 3 to 6 months. He told me they were not even near done yet.

Now you have to options I know that Speed Force Racing has a full tranny upgrade for our cars its 2800 clutch packs, VB, torque converter. Now I know that their is like 3 people that have this tranny but I never see them post nothing on it. I have no idea what it holds or anything like that. That’s why I haven’t personally decided to build it with them.

Now your other option is go with a manual swap. This is my next project I wish I didn’t have to but it seems that I will I cant keep on waiting on something that has been in process for like a year and still no even close to done. I will do the swap and keep my manual tranny for a future build. Im just doing it because I have plans of putting a built motor in the next couple of months ahead and their is no point in having a built motor if you cant push it.
