I've modified the Stock Vortech Fuel System with 440CC Deatschworks Injectors and a 6 to 1 FMU.

The car runs well, but is a bit hard to start. It starts rich (1-2 seconds) then cleans out and idles good about 700RPM, the AFR fluctuates between 15.1 - 14.5 so I think that the SS box setting in those cells are fine, But could it still be to rich even though AFR is reading in the correct range at Idle ?

Any Educated Ideas.........

What is your fuel pressure at idle? Too much fuel pressure can cause a hard start condition, especially when the engine is warm.

 

Should Be what stock is 51 PSI

 

set ur idle to 850.

and your fuel pressure 48-50 at idle.

do u have cams ???
