water won't be effective enough to say so. especially if it's sitting in the washer fluid tank getting warm.

it's water though. It's just not going to be that effective in my opinion. you're better off doing water injection if you're going to mount a pump and run lines.

In EXTREME circumstances this might be good but I go with chimmike on this one. Meth/H2O injection would be a better alternative and would yield a lot better cooling...I guess you could call it "more efficient"...

BUT do it and record your temps before and after under different driving conditions then post your results. Would be interesting to see them!

For more cooling but short cooling effects you could always throw some ice into the tank...Drag style

if you're doing the NX ntercooler kit, wtf are you doing a water sprayer too?

I'm doing the dei cryo2 IC sprayer....but that intake ball thing......I wouldn't do it.

I think that intake ball would block to much air flow . The IC preyer and the fuel line thing is the only thing I would try or bother with

I agree with the water/methanol injection and plan to eventually go that way after I build the bottom end my engine and run a bit more boost. As far as sparying water on the intercooler, I was trying to work up some enthusiasm for that waaaaay back in 1991 with a prior turbo car. At the time, I worked part time as a 2nd job at a major turbo performance center for one of the better FI gurus on the east coast. I asked him about the spearco system for spraying water on the intercooler and he told me it'd do just as good to pi$$ on the intercooler before I made a run. ha. Dampened my enthusiasn so that I never did try it. ha.

As an ultra el cheapo alternative, I have a hand pump pressure sprayer with a large tank of ice water. I spray my intercooler down just before a qtr. mile run just to get rid of any heat soak. Not sure if it helps much. Makes me think I am doing something anyway, ha. The upside is that it costs very little. Real high tech. I keep it in the shade and add ice every once in a while to the tank, ha. Nothing but the best for the "Double Wide" racing team!
