Spoke with Irshad at GRD this morning. At the end of our conversation, he had stated that both him and Tuan were considering a trip here shortly to Phoenix for a few days for tuning, if there was enough interest. He asked that I post on the local boards and see who would be interested in getting a personal tune from GRD w/o having to drive to Naperville…

I asked what ECU mgmt systems they tune, and the response was, “basically anything: UniChip, UTEC, EManage, etc.” They have several different laptops for different applications.

Dates unknown at this time, but will be contingent on how many members would be interested. I’m going to touch bases with Llare (Dan) to see how they secured interest from their local members (nominal, non-refundable deposits, etc.). I would be more than embarrassed to have them come out and have ½ the ‘interested’ parties puss-out.

you think it will be that much better than Richard at Dynocomp's tune? Would they be using Dynocomp's facilities?

But I'll spend the extra $$ to have GRD at least 'review' what's on-board. I'll consider it an investment.

No details as to location/date yet, but I'll let you know if I hear anything, or maybe GRD can chime in with addt'l information.

 

We are talking to two different facilities for dyno use, all depends on the amount of cars.
