I'm running an oil cooler w/ mine, and I've been very happy. Oil temps get very got w/ the Vortech. For longevity purposes, I decided to do an oil cooler. I did my first track event a few weeks back, and everything stayed nice and cool. No probs. Temp that day was in the low to mid 90's.
