Default PE turbo for 06 REVUP

Hey guys,

I'm thinking about getting a PE kit from a member on here.. Does the PE kit bolt up to the 06 REVUPs? What kind of reflash would be needed? Does anyone have any experience with these kits?

Thanks for the help.

it should bolt on fine. however, Contact TechnoSquare to see if they have finished the 06 Z tune. last i heard the 6spd manual and Automatic NA tunes were done- and they were working on the FI version.

Thanks.. Good Idea, I'll give it a try.. I'm not dead set on the kit yet I just want to know all my options.. From what I hear the PE kit is very safe and gives you around 400rwhp out of the box with like 5psi-4.5psi..

I'm not positive if this is correct, but this is what I hear.

I don't mean out of the box I mean with a technosqaure reflash. Sorry. I did hear it was around 400 though.

More like 350 rwhp without the reflash. Reflash allows the boost to be upped, therefore you can go near 400. Ask Cheston, he has the reflash.

I remember seeing that the driver side turbo on the APS TT kit hits the steering knuckle on the 06 Zs. Apparently, this isn't the case with the Greddy kit. I have yet to hear from someone with a Greddy kit on an 06 Z first hand, though. I have heard from 06 Gs and 05 35th Anniversaries that fit fine with the Greddy and APS TT. So, I would imagine that PE suffers similar mechanical compatibility issues to APS and Greddy.

I have a 35th with the rev up motor. Cp race just installed a PE TT kit that was for a G35 (intercooler piping) and they had no problem. I went with a Greddy EU, AAM fuel return kit, Greddy e-01, crawford plenum, but the clutch I bought was no good. So my clutch should be in today or thursday, and I hope Sharif can tune it befores he goes to Z days this weekend, if so I have to wait till he comes back. I'll get some pics when I pick it up

Did you have Sharif hook up water lines to the IHI turbos?
If so, how much did that run?
