Cant figure out whats wrong. INPUT PLEASE

Default Cant figure out whats wrong. INPUT PLEASE

Sunday night I raced a C5 ZO6 and of course I began pulling on him but in
2nd gear around 4500rpms my car bogged out. The rpms dropped to around 3000 then back up to 5000 and so on and so forth. All this happened while at WOT the car would pull and then stop. I then let the car cool down and drove it again this time it didnt do it but it did detonate horribly. I also began idling at 17.1

I am thinking it has to do with the fuel system maybe the fuel pump, or a drop in fuel pressure

Hmmm...Utec issue maybe? Have you called GT yet to see what they think?

Maybe UTEC saw knock and it pulled timing which feels like a damn rev limiter at times when it does this. Prolly just a bad tank of gas...

doubt its a vacuum leak at all

and George the belt that broke was only the AC compressor belt which doesnt matter

Did it get caught and damage anything, this problem is really wierd. Sounds like something with the ECU or EMS for sure.

I was thinking the same thing because it does feel like I am hitting the rev limiter

nope just snapped and I pulled it out. Sam said he would call me today if there was a problem other than with the UTEC. Since he didnt I am assuming it was the UTEC and he will cover the charge.
