Default What is my car worth??

Alright, im not gonna sell my Z, i have just been wondering, if it sold it as is, which is a 2003 touring 20k mileage.
Car has 1 door ding, other then that perfect. Click on myspace for pics. I owe about 20k Which is about the price these 03's are going for. I was thinking about putting it on ebay and just see what i could get.

here are some of the mods, most you can see in the pics on my link to myspace

Motor is in perfect condition
Greddy twin turbo kit
Hks Fcon Vpro
Custom exhaust and downpipes
clutchmasters clutch
Tv/DVD player
19in axis super mesh rims
...lots more

Car runs perfect and the person that got it, i would do a compression and leakdown test.

As long as i can make my money back, or close to 3/4's that would be nice, but i doubt it. I bet the best thing would be to tear everything down and sell it individualy..

Your turbo kit and mods are probably worth maybe $5k on top of Blue Book to most any prospective buyer. Parting it out is your best bet.

Mods almost always have a negative effect on resale. You typically won't get back what you put into the car. It also indicates to potential buyers, that you drove the car hard or put it under stress. I'd return the car to stock if I were to sell it and sell the aftermarket parts on the side.

This is a tough one. While you do indeed get more money parting out the car, your mods will cost big $$$ to remove. It will probably be a wash either way, but its tough to get even 50% of your mods value back in a sale.

I agree with the above, I'd also recommend doing the Leak down and compress test first, cuz what if someone wants to buy it for 25-30k and then you do the test and it comes back out of spec. That would be terrible.

nope..i was gonna get one, but after i tuned my car, my AF was perfect, and there really was no need for it. The reason im considering selling it, is becaue in Dallas alot of people know this car, and that its done right. Im really looking to get 27k...dreaming but that would be nice. If you really look at it, all you need is a built bottem end, and right now the bottem end is perfect
