Let just say...you got the Utec + CJM/AAM fuel return system+ 650cc injectors. Which cost : Utec $900 + CJM/AAM $900 + $650cc 575 = $2375. Do you think stage 1.5 upgrade from the stage 1 will cost that much?

maybe in the same area, but they are so busy over there, that they haven't started the projects yet for the 350z, but basically thats all you need. Might as well build the turbo for 450 and new wastegate 44mm for around 370... somthing to think about!

I'm pretty sure its going to be in the same neighborhood as that but what I don't see listed there is Closed loop boost control, the 5 map switch, 6 channel 30 minute datalogging via a bluetooth link. Those things are also included in the Stage 1.5 upgrade and if you add a few hundred more you also get a custom fit water/meth kit that is 100% programmable into the Unichip...

I don't have a final price on either one so I'm not sure. The above post was a guess. I've said more times then I can count I do not have the final price for either Stage 1.5 build.

The UTEC can do closed or open loop boost control with a $26 solenoid. The map switch can be had for under $70 and you can log to you hearts content (although not bluetooth).

I thought that Stage II was going to require a different feed pipe? Isnt the plan to use the same turbo as the T66 rebuild suggested above, confised???
The turbo rebuild to T66 with a WG sounds like a decent upgrade path.

AS of right now only the last feed pipe may change t accomdate a larger wastegate. Aside from that no pipe changes. You could technically drill out the wastegate opening on the feed pipe and use a larger gate which is what some are doing for now.

well Im gonna upgrade to the t66 i guess. Is anybody routing the waste to open air instead of back into the exhaust? I hear that can give another 10-15 hp? Since I have to get another wastegate anyways Im thinking I should do this.

If I can recall correctly D350Z10 said that the turbonetics newgen wastegate fits as a replacement for the stage 1 wastegate so maybe you could do that instead of drilling out the wastegate opening on the feed pipe. I don't know though just a suggestion.

Yea the newgen should fit if it is the same flange as the evo but if not just 30 mins of welding on the new flange no big deal.

The reason I said to drill out the opening is that the inlet for the wastegate is slightly bigger... its a simple mod...

Ok guys lol forget the T66, 450 bucks was way off. The price to do the t66 modification is 1100 dollars and at least a week and a half without a car. I dont think I want to be paying the price of a whole new turbo when I had to just buy one recently with the kit. Oh well Ill get the power I can from the 60-1 I guess lol.
