Default TS-1 Oil

I have turbonetics TS-1 motor oil in my car presently. I went out to check the oil and it was a tad low so I added a little to the motor. I noticed when I checked the dip stick what came out on the stick had a greenish color but the oil I added was blue. Is this normal? Should the oil on the dip stick be blue not greenish? Hopefully nothing is getting in with the oil and changing the color.

Doubtful...could be residue from the older oil mxing with the blue or just the tint of the oil. If you want to be sure open the drain plug and pour some into a clear bottle and look at it in the light. Everytime I change my oil its blue still.

What color is it on your dipstick? Still very blue? I can see the color changing slightly due to the oil mixing with some of the old oil. I doubt every last drop came out when the change was done. Just kinda strange, wanted to check with you guys who are running this oil.

I just did my first oil change after TN install.

I suggest you change your oil early on the first!!!
I pulled my dipstick out and the oil was dark green. 2600 miles.
I did the oil change myself. 6quarts down to 4 quarts !@L#KJ!@#LK!J.

Don't rely on the dipstick, it sucks.
The TS-1 blue color seems to be a good indicator when to change the oil.

I went back to Mobil 1 High Performance Synth. with a Extended Perf. M1 filter.

The car starts soo much smoother now.

All I can suggest is, change it early. Atleast for the first one.

Hmm thats odd. I haven't lost a drop of oil with either the TS-1 or Royal Purple but the car runs a lot better with the TS-1 IMHO. The oil analysis I did reported EXCELLENT readings on the TS-1 and recommended I run it for 5k miles. Although I won't...I'll attach that analysis.

I thought there was only 5 quarts not 6.

Have you done a 2nd change? Wondering if you got the same results on the second change?
