Default cam install problem, need some help!

I just installed a Set of Nismo R-tune cams along w/ my vortech setup and now my car is running like dogsh!t. Now i know i have to have the idle raised to around 1000 rpm, but that isn't where the problems come in. When i crank the car i have to give it gas to get it to start and when it does start it will idle very harshly at 700rpm for a few seconds before it dies. Doing this the boost guage only shows 3hg of vaccum. Now if i crank it and hold the throttle at 1000rpm it runs smoothly and the vaccum increases(WTF) to around 10-15 hg and the AFR is at 14.7. Also when reving the car to around 4-5k rpm in park it doesnt rev as freely as it should. It feels like it is lacking power. We used a smoke machine to detect and fix all vacc leaks and i am getting 0 codes.

What could possibly cause these symptoms. I am guessing that the cam timming is off. Any suggestions?

Or the cam gears are swapped sides(ie left bank intake cam is on right bank intake cam). Overzealous1 had this problem.

ya, unfortuneately they say nothing in the service manuals about each side being different and they are indexed identically. very easy to mix them up. but, they do advance in different directions.
if you tap into your 02 signals, you can find out for sure. iirc, the right bank will be really lean and the left will be rich.

Did you measure the clearances? I had this problem before and my car ran like crap because of it.
