Im looking for a shipper to ship a motor. Any suggestions?

I use Bax global, usually $120-$160 within the US

Longblock (250lbs on a crate)

if you put it on a crate and wrap it real good, i believe Fed-ex or UPS would ship it for you. They'll even go pick it up from wherever it currently is.

Too heavy, at best Fedex Freight.

usps, ups, and FedEx all limit packages to ~70 lbs. FedEx Freight I'm not sure but I bet it would be +$$+. I've used usps to ship an engines head/upper&lower block but that runs about $30 for each piece. You'll need a trucking Co. or something like that.

Ive used Fedex twice to ship my short block to SGP . I made a small crate to ship in . Think it was....$165

Insurance is the thing that kills you though. To properly insure a longblock could be big $$. Don't most freight companies only insure a few cents per pound?

No..they just charge you .50 for every 10 pounds or every $100 in value , some thing like that . Cant remember.....but it is cheap
