Smile exhaust + TN

Which Tanabe exhaust will bolt directly on the TN downpipe? Which type will be the most quiet. Any other brand suggestion would be appreciated. I don't want to fab any kind of Y-pipe and would like to to sound a close to stock as possible. Thanks everyone

why not keep stock? It bolts up fine, there wont be any over boost problems due to exhaust, and people are making nice power still with the stock exhaust.

Cuz stock anything sucks. And if the kit is new it will have the overboost correction when he buys it so no need to worry Any Tanabe exhaust that connects to the factory y-pipe will work with the TN kit...

newb question.. does the TN kit come with a reverse y pipe or a longer mid section so you can just drop an axle back on? Or would you have to get one custom made?

thanks, i have the hks td but after i made the reversed y-pipe the sound was too high pitched at wot. thats y i'm selling it. i think it was because of a leak in the y. yes, i do have the wategate relocation pipe kit done. is helix a 3" catback? so the tanabe will bolt right on the downpipe? which is the quietest?

It does not come with a reverse y-pipe. Anything axle back or y pipe back that works on stock wil lwork with this kit as I said above. If you run a TD exhaust you need a reverse y-pipe made.

I had the HKS on my car when it was N/A. The thing sounded awesome. But I switched over to a Fuji with my TN kit. It's QUIET.

I had my Stock exhaust on before I switched to the Fuji, and the Stock was actually louder!#!@ (but raspier). The Fuji was deeper and you won't hear it unless you're up around 5k.

Any y pipe back exhaust will fit. Any TD will need a reverse y as has been stated above... Keep in mind that the exhaust will quiet down typically with a turbo kit as the turbocharger acts as a 33% muffler.

Well for the most part I haven't heard half of those exhausts in person with a ST kit so I can only give you what I have heard:

Apexi WS2 (on my car)... Very Quiet but screams when you are on it.
Tanabe (don't know the name but has a muffler like my WS2): A little louder then my WS2
Amuse R1 louder then the others but sounds AMAZING and performance is EXCELLENT
Fuji: Same performance of the Amuse (except the Amuse is so much lighter its retarded) but is as quiet as my WS2.
