yeah just like when slavery was legal in most states

it just isn't possible the gov't made laws for the wrong reasons is it?

sorry, sentry committing a crime is not a "judgement call" (as new2350 will soon be finding out as he defends his brown-eye with a sharpened melted toothbrush). me and a few million of my friends decided to make a few more "judgement calls" for everyone else. here's a few samples: "you cant steal the property of someone else and call it your own or sell it" and "you cant drink too much alcohol and get in your car and drive" and "you cant rape 12 year old boys against their will (that one is especially for you sentry)"

yeah...i guess i do have some crazy "judgement calls" for my fellow man. they are called laws.

anyone who is for "medical marijuana" is what i call a "willing fool". you are doing the bidding of a bunch of potheads whose only real goal is legalizing marijuana use so they can get high. "medical marijuana" is nothing more than a scam to legalize recreational use. for every one of you who thinks there is an actual medical benefit to smoking weed, there are a hundred snickering potheads hoping you succeed in making weed legal (for whatever made up reason). the biggest joke is the people who originally made up "medical marijuana" are laughing their asses off at the idea that their is a small army of you idiots who actually believe this nonsense and are willing to speak out on its behalf. i can just see them now..."i cant believe they bought it!!!"

no i did not mean "judgemental call" as in take the law into your own hands

i meant it in response to you saying
dont you think its ironic that you are sacrificing your lungs by injesting carcenigenic smoke to make yourself better?
that it's up to the individual to decide if hurting one part of their body outweighs another part of the body being in pain etc

you were saying that's ironic and it is, but people have to make those calls every day. My wife has to make the call to take her pain meds to keep her headaches under control even though the meds are bad for her liver - ironic? Yes, but don't judge her by that because you'd probably do the same thing.

any drug can be harmful if abused beyond it's intended dosage

the gov't says pot is illegal. That's fine, that's the law. I'm not disputing that. The history behind how that law came to be is rather interesting though - kinda ignorant actually, but that's another subject

yes it's a "slippery slope" when you decide to take the Doctor's prescription that says you should smoke weed. Cops probably hear "it's for medical purposes" 5 times a day and don't even blink an eye when people tell them that

however if the law also says you can smoke medical grade weed under the prescription of a doctor for a legit reason, and there's suficient evidence of it being legit, then that is legal to and the law is the law

Schweaty should shut his mouth and open his mind!! Have you ever met a medicinal marijuana patient? These people constist of Aids patients, cancer patients, and other people who have decided that Medical marijuana is a safe alternative to liver destroying meds. What makes you think that you know what is best for everyone? Are you a doctor? Do you know any cancer patients? Well I do, I know for a fact that Med Mj helps. It helps with pain relief, insomnia, and appetite loss due to chemotheropy. Along with multiple other diseases and symptoms. These are Real doctors that have to pass all regulations. More than half of California voted for this. Could half of California and the other states be wrong? I dout it, because I know first hand that Med Mj has helped me. Let me state that I never smoked Mj before I it was reccomended by my Doc. Do some research online and then come back to this site and make an edjucated comment. I hate to see you so narrow minded in this Open minded world.

And the little comment you made about sentry and little boys will get you banned from this site. That was wrong. Think before you speak and god forbid you or a family member would ever need Med Mj in a state that does condone it. Amen

oh he's been reported to several moderators

not sure what was up with that comment. That type of crap has no business being in any forum. I'm willing to let a lot of things slide, but not something like that

In 1981 the California Research Advisory Panel reported: "Over 74 percent of the cancer patients treated in the program have reported that marijuana is more effective in relieving their nausea and vomiting than any other drug they have tried." In 1982, a 78.9 percent effectiveness rate was found for smoked marijuana. By 1983 the report was conclusory in its findings stating:

The California Program also has met its research objectives. Marijuana has been shown to be effective for many cancer chemotherapy patients, safe dosage levels have been established and a dosage regimen which minimizes undesirable side effects has been devised and tested.

This thread should be temp closed until this all pans out. Hopefully sooner than later.

Damn glad to hear you got it back!

Surely you're not considering selling your car (...well, I hope not, but you gotta do what you gotta do)?

By the way, I am a doctor (ER type and over twenty years experience) and your comments concerning the use of marijuana were correct. Lots of very dangerous drugs get approved every year by the FDA and then get pulled when people are harmed. The laws concerning the use of medicines in this country are mostly driven by financial concerns and not by what is in the best interest of the patients. Damn shame, that.

Wow! Looks like this thread has come full circle. Glad you got your car back. Did you ever get the Vortech installed? I scanned the thread pretty quickly so I might have missed that part.

Yeah I am debating selling the car. But who knows? I have the s/c, cams, therm spacer, gauges, and most everything needed to install it sitting in my garage. Pan is already tapped and I have a free mechanic so I think I will probably do it.

Car has only 6,700 miles so I could probably sell it for a decent amount and throw the s/c, parts, ect in with the deal and let them install it. I would be hesitant to buy a car that had a s/c on it.

I will know soon.

Last time I check you didn't need bigger injectors when adding the Vortech. But it seems that all you Vortech guys have injectors now. Are the stock ones not giving enough fuel? I bet this is a big debate.
