I am still going at 49 going on 50. Most people realize at about my age that are average in most things they have done in life. Before then it is mostly male ego getting in the way of assessing themselves accurately.

Living in Cali, I , for one, am still waiting on a CARB TT kit. It doesn't look too promnising, but I am still hoping that either JWT or APS would come through...

Elegantly expressed, as you so often, if not always, do.
It is only tough when you realize that you are aspiring to average. And may not make it.
When we start coverting the side air bag protection in the driver seat to a colostomy bag plug in, we know that our mods list has gone too far.

Damn good posts to the question.

I too have been "ummmming & arrring" over whether to go F1 or not for the past year. I have to be honest with myself and say that I will probably not do it. The expense is the major factor (shipping and install here is a killer), but so is the thoughts mentioned above, why more than 300bhp, which is already a good number of ponies under the hood.

Think I will stick to a gfew "bolt-ons" and leave it at that.

A n/a 350Z to me is "peppy", not scary fast. Depends how much you are willing to pay to get scared.

I'm still thinking of going FI everyday but want to wait until the GTR comes out to see if it's worth buying. 3.7L TT 450 HP AWD sounds yummy.

zland, thank you for imparting your wisdom unto me. Seriously, I know that the stuff older people tell me is true because they've experienced it, and my experience of it most likely will be the same. So instead of repeating the actions or thoughts that others have already done and told me about, I will try to hop over that to the next stupid mistake I make.

I try not to be an expert at one thing, I like to spread my flawed genius as far and wide as possible.

I will stay NA until I change my car. With new m3 and supra around a corner I can not justify going fi. Both of those cars should have about 400-450HP stock.
