Regarding TN single turbo
How many people are running the TN single turbo kit without any other modifications on a stock motor. For example fuel return, engine management etc. I have heard that some people have experienced issues with the ecu reflash etc and that the reflash just leaves to much margin for error. What is your experience so far and would you recommend ditching he ecu reflash for something you can tune. thanks for the input.
I am running it with no other e-manage or fuel upgrade, just what came with the kit. So far so good. I have about 2500mi on the kit so far. There are others including a memeber who upped his boost a little with a boost controller with the re-flash. He is @412rwhp experiencing no problems. I'm sure they will chime in.
Yup stillen is on the way out, just finished my Z32 project now I am on to gettting a little more power out of the 350. I have been looking at all the turbo kits, and for the money vs power the TN is a great buy. Its hard to go from driving a high 300 WHP Z32 and get into a 300 HP stillen 350Z. Just makes me not want to drive the 350Z. I maybe drive it like 2 times a month car has like 9000 miles on it turns three in two months.
On my stock 350Z with just the kit installed my A/F ratio was sub 9's. The A/F ratio is hit or miss on the TN kit. It's a roll of the dice it seems. I went with the UTEC. I love the UTEC.

Taurran and I met through this forum and have become friends. We drove up to z dayz together in NC, I really became impressed with the TN kit when he was able to keep up with my 95tt. My 95 has an amazing power band and him and I were neck to neck every time we went at it. I love the power of my Z32 and would be more then happy with that kinda power in my 350Z. Seeing how rock solid Taurran's(Craig's) kit was really made me lean towards the TN kit. By the way for those of you who havent met Craig personally, he is an awesome guy and we had a blast. His couch is very cozy!
yea I have a boost gauge on my stillen. I only make about 5.5-6 on the stage three. Honestly, its a rock solid kit and I enjoyed it but it doenst make the power that it should. I mean for the same money, the TN kit produces an additional 100 or so rwhp.

Thanks Kevin.
I only wish you could have driven my car while we were up there to help you choose if the ST power delivery is what you were after. I still haven't pulled the seat out to see why it is jammed.
Hopefully I'll have time to do that before you come back to Tampa or I visit there.
As far as which FI system you choose to go with, it totally depends on your goals, as we discussed on the phone. Once you have a good idea of where you'd like to be then you can make a solid choice on which kit to go with.
My ST setup personally has a solid AFR curve that hovers between 11.2-11.7:1 AFR all the way to redline. As stated, it sometimes differs from car to car so as long as you are able to dyno the car and verify that it's making good power and within safe AFR's then you should be good to go.

well I would recommend the turbo netics for anyone looking for a single turbo kit - it is the best one here in house imo and is very cost efficient - not to mention their customer service is awesome!! keep in mind we are an authorized turbonetics dealer and in order to get the warranty on the product, you need to buy it from an authorized dealer
I had to do a piggyback (UTEC) with my TN kit, I added many mods to the stock flash so I ran lean to the point of detonation. I also went ahead and did the AAM fuel system and let AAM tune the car, I have been pleased with the results. 11 sec 1/4's is nice to have
I am a VERY satisfied TN owner.
